Pennsylvania Gov.-elect Josh Shapiro has chosen to use a Jewish Bible from the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia for his swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023. The Bible once belonged to Herman Hershman, who carried it while serving in World War II and attended the same Montgomery County synagogue as Shapiro.
