Northwest Philly residents petition Gov. Shapiro to 'save' SEPTA's Chestnut Hill West line

Northwest Philly residents who depend on the Chestnut Hill West line have signed a petition urging Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro to provide additional funding for SEPTA in the state budget. The transit authority may make substantial service cuts if it can't overcome a projected $240 operating budget deficit and residents fear the Chestnut Hill West line may be cut.
